fricking hate the heat but love North La. just spent two weeks there visiting family. People just get their feelings hurt too easily on this board

Me too man. My wife hates the cold though. I think we'll probably compromise after my kids are out of school and maybe move to Asheville or somewhere like that.

That's a big concern for me. I work outdoors. And every summer I was in Nola, I found myself sending my resume to jobs in badass locations. Yet the other 8 months of the year, I loved life. After enough moving, I've figured out that almost no place has perfect weather
