The URL was set to go live in January 1st, so someone fricked something up with the coding.
Will be insane if he is announced on the 1st.
Only reason I can think is if Barca was scared the price would skyrocket after the World Cup and just paid up now.
He is cup tied as well, so that is another knock for them.

yeah - I saw that last night (about the code)
Balague is saying no new offer has come in from Barca... Also, none of our reliable journals seem to know of a deal in place..
Also, in a new telegraph article... It has said JWH and Gordon did the deal for VVD on 12/21... No negotiation.. They named the price and we paid it. Klopp and Edwards were informed on 12/24..

So, how do you rotate the front 4 tomorrow? I think you go for it and rest them against the bitters in the FA cup... they'll get almost two weeks of rest before city..
I read Salah may have a knock, so I'd rest him until City, honestly..
Klopp already said Migs is in.. backline I'm not overly concerned with.. TAA for Joe? Maybe Can, Gini and Ox/Lallana MF... Bobby, Sadio and Phil? Or sub Phil for Ox?

KDB and Jesus stretchered off for City today... I wonder if they miss our match?
I hope neither one of them is too serious... brilliant players..

I’d do more rotation tomorrow and then bring more starters in against Everton. I generally don’t give a shite about cups, but it is a derby...
And resting them tomorrow would give them almost a week off followed by another week and a half until City.
Salah, Firmino, and probably Coutinho should be rested. Mané has gotten more rest over the past week so I’d let him start, bring on Ox and Solanke. In midfield, I’d say Can probably needs a rest, and go with Gini, Milner (he’s an engine so he could probably go again) and Lallana. He might not be able to go a full 90 but I’d imagine he’s fit enough to get 60-70. The back would be a little trickier. Klavan and TAA should start since he missed last match, then either Matip or Lovren as the other CB just depending on who feels better I guess. LB is tricky because Robertson has played every match in this busy period, Moreno still out, and we probably need Milner more in midfield right now. I’d lean towards giving Robertson a break and starting Gomez on the left.

I dont see that happening... I think its Robertson or Milner..
for the rest - yeah its tricky with two days rest... I just want to keep the momentum going in the league... If history is any indication, I see him doing more what you said above... especially since he was criticized for a weaker team against the bitter last time..
I just dont want to drop points with Chelsea and Arsenal playing... Man U and Everton... I could really see two draws and an opportunity to make up ground (with City looming)..

Yea I agree getting a win would be pretty big, especially considering we have City in the league next. I could very well see him just trying to push through these next two games until we get the long break before City, but I’d say there’s a few players who could really use a break. I think Salah, Firmino, Can, and probably Robertson could all use a breather.
But Burnley at Turf Moor is no walk in the park. Hopefully we play very defensively sound and I’d be ecstatic if we can squeak out an ugly win.

Looks like Goretzka is off to Bayern.

probably good for you, because that would probably be the end of Vidal at Bayern..

Ehhhhh Vidal doesn't really fit Chelsea's profile for transfers. Can't see Chelsea buying a guy north of 30 for a good bit of money. I'd love him for a few years while Bakayoko develops, though.

Not sure what he'd cost, but he does have a lot of miles on those legs recently...

Also:
I have also seen random accounts tweeting ESPN Brazil says we will take Barcelona to court for it... no actual article and I'm not sure what you can do in court for that???

Salah and Coutinho didnt travel today.. off to Madrid and Barcelona, respectively..
Schalke sporting director says Goretzka decision has not been made yet.. I still think odds are slim though..

VERY interesting rotation. Matip out, eh? Klopp doesn't often send messages, but I suspect that might be one.
Still not thrilled with Can because I still think he's way over-rated compared to his output (except for yellow cards... he's good at those), but the rest of the midfield and the forwards I'm excited to watch and see what they can do.
But I will give Can props for being a proper arsehole in the Leicester match when it was needed and required.

Plus, I'm interested to see who plays on the left wing. Lallana? Or Ox?
I think I'd put Lallana out there because Ox has been playing extremely well from AM of late.

could be a back 3 with Ox and TAA as WBs
apparently Coutinho is out with a thigh and Salah a groin... both expected back for the bitters match..

Might be Mané left and Ox right. I’d almost rather see Mané back on the right for a match to see if that can help get him back in a groove and get some form back
