It's funny all the doom and gloom after that match... it wasn't even close to our best 11...
The writing off of Ox after his first start with that group is laughable... nobody thinks he's the missing piece, but people forget about our depth issues last year when Cou/Mane/Hendo were out for long periods...
Obviously we aren't winning anything of note with this defense... that needs to be addressed, but the rest just kills me...

Yeah I agree with you, I didn't bother watching yesterday and frankly don't give a shite about that cup, especially with CL games ahead...
I still love the Ox signing, it's a great piece of business for depth because you're 100% right, we were fricked with those three out last season, he and Salah certainly help that.

I'm frustrated as well at our defensive lapses and quite honestly our lack of recruitment of quality players in those key positions... We all know the qualities (or lack of) of our CBs... But Hendo is not a natural #6 (neither DLP or destroyer).. he's a B2B guy whose best qualities are lost in this position.. he is fine about 80% of the time, but his positional awareness at times is exposed and with our CBs, that is costly...
I assume with him starting and Can resting, we may see Can as the #6 over the weekend?
With all that, I'm really anxious to see Bobby/Mane/Salah/Coutinho all match fit and playing together.. I think that alone will change some of these games immensely, in spite of our porous defense...

LMAO....Lovren, Matip and Can all have knocks according to Joyce. Don't know if they'll play or not.
I mean, if only anyone could have foreseen our CB situation having depth (let alone talent) problems based upon players with injury issues.
Gomez and Klavan at CB = Vardy Party.
Hell, I don't even know who could be on the bench as the back-up.
Just when I think I'll let it go and start focusing on what we have, shite like this happens and make me pissed again.

It is what it is at this point... Maybe we'll just keep the ball in their half the whole time and those CBs won't have to do shite (you know like the Arsenal match )

At least Vardy is still nursing that groin... hopefully, if he plays.. he's not %100

Everton, Man U, Chelsea, Man City, and Tottenham all win today. How much do we lose by?

Things are going to get better, pville, my good buddy.

5 minutes in and two TOs by Lovren already on Liverpools defensive end.
And then he plays Vardy ONSIDE.
fricking hell.

Christ announcers, get your mouths off of Vardy’s dick, will ya?

Unbelievable, yet typical, lack of finishing.

And Moreno with a dangerous turnover.

I love that Salah continues to miss sitters but capitalizes on chances that are much harder to convert
