Disagree with Hacksaw. His wrestling skills were average. But on par with a lot of guys in that era. He had a gimmick with the 2x4 that played well. The whole USA thing was good and led to great story lines at the time. And he is still involved doing signings. My nephew was thrilled to meet him a year ago and couldn't have been nicer.
Plus, he didn't die. Longevity has to count for something.

The "Hacksaw" name wasn't even Duggan's originally. He stole it from Butch Reed.
As for One Man Gang/Akeem, I know him pretty well -- super-nice, down to Earth guy. Lives in Central. Also one of the VERY few wrestlers I know who didn't use steroids or any other drugs during his wrestling days.
