re: Help settle a drunk debate about ben Franklin

No im right.my fiancée is trying to say that the only reason that Ben Franklin was famous was because he had the kite experiment s*** going on and I'm trying to tell her that hey look you know yeah he want the president or anything but Ben Franklin help write the Declaration of Independence he's like a pretty f****** big deal


With this said I watch the John Adams mini-series on HBO and I'm pretty sure he never actually signed anything and besides besides being
an ambassador to France don't remember him actually being in any official capacity as far as the Continental Congress
