Exactly.

Extoll the benefits of breast feeding and research it as much as she does. Support her through the tough parts of feeding. Nothing better than the baby crying and you still can't lactate, so you get to sleep.

The trade off? Shitty diapers. Gotta be a man and step up and change shitty diapers. Thats what you have to prepare for.

There were two weeks there EARLY on where only I could put him back to sleep with the way I held him and patted his back. It was pretty cool, but I was glad it only lasted a couple weeks.

As I typed this I just got done yelling at my son. He is now 7. Thats what you need to prepare yourself for. Sometimes you have to be a dickhead. Not beat your kids or shite like that, but raise your voice a tad and let him know you are serious about whatever the hell is going on.

Gotta be prepared to be an arse to the one you love most. Otherwise you'll be an old man one day and he will be going through your wallet for meth money.
