(like Bad Radio on the Ticket in Dallas which is the most popular sports radio in DFW by a country mile)

I literally listened to the G-Bag Nation today and they spent like two segments discussing how to cook perfect BBQ for tomorrow (One of the guys is a hardcore BBQ guy and is well educated on the subject).

I don't like the Ticket and literally don't know anyone out of like my legit group of 10-15 actual friends here who listen to it over the Fan (I don't know if it's an age thing or what, but my uncles here are the only ones I know personally who listen to the Ticket and are P1's, but they are also like 60-years-old), but it sounds like it's the same way. Gotta fill in those slots somehow.

I listen to the Ticket sometimes, doesn't sound too different from the exact same sort of stuff they were doing 20 years ago.

good for popping in occasionally, I don't like any of the local teams anyway

I don't like the Ticket

I've never been a huge fan mostly b/c they diverge from sports so often.

I feel like The Fan tends to have some of the same issues as The Ticket though. As much as I like Ben and Skin for bball talk I turn the dial w/quickness when they start talking about what rappers they listen to when they were young or when they waste an entire segment on a dumb prank that seems to be more for their entertainment. The Fan doesn't seem to veer off course as much but when it does it's basically a wasted 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, ESPN 103.3 has fallen off hard w/all the talent they've lost the last few years. I can't even listen to Steve Dennis and his constant yelling. I'd much rather have Matt Mosley back in his spot b/c when SD is on i pretty much can't listen to the channel for the entire afternoon. I can somewhat handle it when him and Cowlishaw talk CFB but even then SD's hot takes and Ohio State love cause me the change the channel.

That said, I pretty much just flip back and forth between them all in the hopes they are talking about something I want to hear.

At least DFW has 3 stations. When I lived in Tyler we only had the one and a shitload of time was devoted to high school football.
