Who Will Be Hardest to Replace on Baseball Team in 2018?

Of course losing Lange and Poche will be tough but I think Pap is gonna be really hard to replace.
I know Deichman's power will be missed as well.
But Pap's defense and holding runners close. His power came through down the stretch as well.
What say the experts?

Pap by far in my opinion.

Well since you asked, definitely catcher

Paperski, will be the toughest to replace, but why must an A Hole make fun of Kramer after he passed up $250,000 last year to come back this year and give all he could and only be able to sign for $150,00.
He gave up $100,000 to come back. Those who make fun of Kramer are a buch of losers who would piss all over themselves if they got on the field.

Deichman and the constant threat of the 3 run bomb.

Deichmann. Will miss his bat more than fielding, but was a driving force in our run production.

Pap was clutch down the stretch but really, without Kramer's leadership we don't make it past Miss St. and maybe we don't host a Regional. Haters get in line. The talent we had with Katz, Bregman and Rhymes was amazing but no one stepped up to do what Kramer did from a leadership standpoint. We made it that far with that group based on talent alone but they could have won it all if someone had stepped up like Kramer.

That Rant whipping boy of March and April.

If I didn't know who was already coming in I'd say Pap. But I think we have that covered. We probably won't get quite the same level of receiving that we got used to, but we'll be good at catcher.
The two middle infielders are going to be hardest to replace. I've posted it on here before and been universally criticized, but I think we'll take a big step back at SS. A year from now most on here will think this is wrong, because Smith will prove to be a very reliable fielder. What they'll never realize is the number of balls he's not going to touch that Kramer would have fielded.
I think the same is true of Freeman. The strength of the 2017 team was defense up the middle. A lot of would-be hits turned into outs because of the range of the middle infielders and Watson in center. And of course Pap controlling wild pitches and controlling the running game. When the pitching was on it was a fun team to watch because of that sparkling defense.

Freeman definitely will be a difficult spot to replace fielding wise
But SS? Are you just guessing that Kramer can get to more balls than Smith? Have you ever seen Smith play SS or just going off of his play at 3rd?
Anyone who has seen Smith field at the shortstop position knows just how crazy and baseball smart he is at the position

Pap and it's not even close

Pap, his leadership abilities were off the charts not to mention his defensive prowess and patience at the plate. But even when he wasn't hitting early he was still very valuable.
Reminds me of David Ross with the Cubs in that regard.

Definitely Pap.
I think the team will have more power throughout the lineup next year so I think that's how you will replace Deichmann's power. Smith, Watson, and Slaughter with another year of maturing. Storz coming in. The Jordan's have a little pop. Coomes and Woley. The potential to hit a lot of home runs is here.

I believe Smith will prove a better ss. Held my breath on every throw Kramer would sling towards 1st. Slaughter and Coomes bailed him out a shite ton.

Pap
A really good defensive catcher that knows how to manage different pitchers can reall do a lot of unsung work not many people appreciate

If we are losing all 3 of our starters for 2018; Lange, Poche, and Walker. It will be difficult to replace 2 of those 3, but if it's all 3 than yea that is going to be difficult to replace.
