Doesn't every team wear white jerseys? Damn, you're dumb.
I hate all alternate uniforms because teams with strong traditions don't need that shite. (Don't see Alabama doing it)
The only ones I've seen that I've liked just a little bit were the all-white ones.
Our best "Alternate" uniform is the regular LSU uniform with the purple jersey's.
Maybe every 5 years or so, pull out an Opposite/Reverse/Bizzaro World (Seinfeld) uniform with White-Gold-White. (But with the same design as the regular) The Tigers have never worn a W-G-W uni with the traditional design. All the WGW's they've worn were not of the well known LSU design.
All that being said, the black ones pictured here, weren't nearly as bad as I thought they were going to be. (And I detest black uniforms for teams that don't have black as one of the school colors)

To be fair, black is also a neutral color. With that said, I agree that it would be a huge mistake to get all gimmicky with the uniforms. LSU is one of the few universities with a classic, badass uniform.
