ETA then there's Noah, no trying to save fellow men or help the wicked. Just save a few animals and keep your family dry. The lesson? Wood floats, I guess.

It sounds like you just don't have a deep enough understanding of the scripture to find the moral. With many years of devout Bible study, prayer, and substantial monetary donations to the church you will begin to find the true meaning of God's word.
