I moved to Houston in 2014 after my entire life in Louisiana. I moved to Austin in March 2017.

I can honestly say that I hope I never, and I mean never, have to live in Louisiana again.

I miss my family and some friends, but the state of Louisiana offers nearly nothing for me and countless other young professionals.

Congratulations, but this is why TOPS is so fricked up. Louisiana taxpayer dollars fund the program, and then graduates leave and take jobs elsewhere.

Not saying its you or anyone else's fault...you are bettering yourself. But damn, this is why our state is shite. We fund the education of our best, and then we lose them because pay is shite here.

Yepp tops is fricked up. If I could have found a job with the same pay and benefits in BR for a new post grad I would have taken.

But not only were the offers for less money, the money wouldn't have gone as far after private school.
