It's more than just getting people that can hit the 3 though. Cunningham shot 39% from 3 but never drew much attention from the defense. Even Eric Gordon was left open a lot as a Pel. But you know who wasn't? Buddy. He had a reputation AND they ran his arse all over the court on offense. DC was 40%, but he only shot 2.7 per game and most came from the corners where he was just standing around as you said. Hill took the same amount of 3pa/36, but took about 2x as many from the left wing where he camps out to to get back on D as he did from the corners. I am hoping he can improve his % from that spot from 35% closer to 40%. I think he can. Etwaun should be more of a shooter this year too and as I said in the other response, I think they will bring in someone like Meeks who will miss games (so should be cheaper), but his perimeter shot must be respected.

Also if you watched the highlights of him moving off ball around the perimeter, I think that is what they have in mind eventually for Frank Jackson.
