I just think the smarter way to go is to bring in a Darren Collison for 7-9 million a year and let him be the "pg". He wont be as productive as Holiday but I really don't think we need a ton of production from the pg position with this offense.

The problem is "needle moving" 3 pt shooters cost some serious $$. 33 year old JJ Redick is about to get a contract somewhere in the 15-21 million / year range.
I really like Aaron Afflalo if we're going to go after the Kings' scrap heap. Decent wings cost more than decent point guards. Look at what another ex-King, Rudy Gay, will likely command vs someone like say Jeff Teague. Everyone wants length to be able to match up with these hybrid lineups run out by the elite teams.
