The Truth

The fact of the matter is, while last night still stings (a lot), in all honesty, how many of these guys will actually ever be on MLB rosters? From the standpoint of gut-wrenching disappointment, I think the 2013 team stunk up Omaha much worse, primarily because they had much more pure talent than this team.

I agree. This team lacks a prototype at any position sans Lange and Hess,

Honestly don't think any of them will make it to the big show. Kramer will play a few seasons in the minors and be done, and i think the same will happen with Freeman. Hate to say that, but it is what it is. I hope I'm wrong, but I think the MLB wasted some top picks this season.

So play sound baseball and you will win.
Besides pitching, how many UF guys are going to make the show? They have a bunch of sub .300 hitters in college.

You kidding me? Pure talent?
I've never understood when people said this year's team wasn't talented. We had 3 solid starters and a 3 deep bullpen. We were the best fielding team in the nation and had over half of our lineup bat over .300 (total team average of .289).
It doesn't take MLB qualities to be talented at the college level. You guys have no f**king clue.
Outside of maybe OSU, we did not face a team this postseason that was more talented than our roster. If you're waiting for a more "talented" roster, you will be waiting for a while. At the end of the day, this team made too many mistakes at the CWS and had some guys slump at the wrong time.
If you're basing talent off of guys who make MLB rosters, then you're an idiot. We can go through a lot of talented guys who have come through lsu that have not made it to the MLB.

Absolutely. This team really overachieved in my opinion. Not winning with Bregman and Gausman was much worse.
