I grew up fishing the South End. Biscuits and gravy at Big Bass, Langly's (The old 2 story store) and Curtis' were the spots.
Coming from Shreveport now, I've yet to find good food outside of Southern Classic Chicken in Many.

I am actually thinking about taking a detour tomorrow and fish the south end on my way up. I have not fished south in years.
