I am not quite sure but I don't think you can plead the fifth in a closed session. I would imagine he would refuse to show up and enter his plea. Maybe he wants to do it in person.
He better have answers as to why they didn't give the FBI their computers. But Crowdstrike got them. Or why he was so stupid enough to be phished.

Of course you can. They can't exactly pull his finger nails out if he doesnt answer.
