We also would have given Gerry DiNardo a Lifetime contract, never hired Nick Saban and then fired him after the UAB loss.

Dude did you play baseball in college? I bet you're an intense competitor who DOES NOT settle for mediocrity with the teams you cheer for and over which you have absolutely no control!

Considering where we came from huh? Tell me, exactly where did we come from?
Mid-season we were on a trend where we might not have even made the tournament if it had continued. Were we out of if then? No, there was still a lot of baseball to be played. But to say there was anything less than a remarkable change in this team's success from the Bama series is disingenuous. I'm not defending the negatigers, but the "I told you so" crowd are almost as bad. Just move on and enjoy the moment.

Yes I did, and all I am saying is I get why people overreact sometimes. It is just a part of the process

Dipshit. Do you play on the LSU baseball team? Are you a coach? If not, you are a fan. It is entertainment. Getting upset over entertainment and sports and letting it dictate your mood is like getting upset and pissed off because you didn't like a movie your favorite actor was in

If you ain't playing, it's not worth getting worked up over.

Kids are being abused and murdered and there are muslims killing people and Barack Obama was and now Donald Trump is our president. There's more to be concerned with than a game played by boys.

This is Kramer's team. He deserved the chance to work it out on his own terms.

says it all. people say (type) emotional, reactionary things when they are upset; IT'S A frickING MESSAGE BOARD and venting is OK. it's encouraged even. the name "Rant" kinda gives us a hint.

yet, some people do not like ranting and they bump rants from months ago so they can boast how smart they are and how they, and only they are "true" LSU fans. in real life, these people are called NIGYSOB's (now I got you son of a bitch). they lurk and await the glorious opportunity to pounce.

So its not OK to point and laugh at LSU fans who overreact to a situation, but its hilarious when we find other fan bases doing it and bring it to the board?

Why is one OK and one not?

Bc all but 2 schools don't have a next game to talk about

Nothing prevents it being done just whiney, douche, and says I am ready to cash out at number 2

Dipshit, you are bitching about people overreacting to a sporting event as if LSU fans are the only ones that do it. It has literally been happening for all major athletics since conception. Get the f'ck over it. Just because you get your feelings hurt about it isn't going to stop it from happening

Were we never not going to host a regional, but all of a sudden turned it around? We were on the fringe for a national seed, and earned ourselves one by playing great late. That's all we came from....a regional host to a national seed.

I'm not arguing with you about people overreacting, but you're wrong about these points. Going into the Alabama series, we were projected to be a two seed by D1 baseball. They are usually very accurate about their postseason predictions. The way we were playing going into that series, we were going to be on the road for a regional.
That being said, I always thought that CPM would get the lineup figured out. He has a history of doing it coming down the stretch.

You've been killing it here lately.

Maybe 8-10 posters wanted CPM fired and called certain players "worthless." The vast majority was just pointing out the obvious--the team was playing poorly mid season. And it's not like none of us remained hopeful they could turn it around. There's a difference between being disappointed and throwing a fit, contrary to what the NIGYSOB's want to believe. If at any point 6 weeks ago you were disappointed, you weren't wrong. And it sure as hell doesn't mean you can't be happy now, which we all are.

Right. There weren't playing as well as they are now. However, at no point were they out of contention at all in the SEC. People severely overreacted. Also, let's not act like this overreaction was still not taking place by some of our "fans" as recent as Monday.

Just Monday we had:
- need to bench Kramer
- need to bench Jordan
- CPM is doing what he always does in Omaha
- Dunn needed to be put on notice.

I'm less of a fan because I don't like PM and I don't think he is a good coach? GET REAL. Isn't it fascinating that the best baseball program has something to cheer about after 7 YEARS!

And had it not been for a handful of players making the decision to come back, we would have likely added an 8th and 9th year to the skid.

PM benefits from LSU.... not the other way around PERIOD. I can be happy for the team and root them on as best as anyone. And I can do that without having to like our coach.

And there are only a few people that call out players. I am not one of them. Debating who should play and not play, etc, is part of being on this board. If you don't like it, don't read it.

With that said, I will lay off PM for a while. He has finally earned that.. even though this was probably more related to a rare event of having all those players choose to come back.

So that means calling for the staff to be fired was a reasonable reaction?

Yes because PM hadn't don't shite in 7 years to earn coaching the best baseball program in the country. Now, he has. And that gives him a stay of execution for a few years.
