That's the thing about Trump. You really don't know for sure. He is so good at manipulating his detractors that you have to think three moves ahead just to keep up with him. The tape bluff (if it is, indeed, a bluff) blew the Russia thing wide open and completely changed the narrative.
Does comey risk running a false narrative and having it come back to bite him?

I'm going to laugh if Comey changes his story now thinking there are no tapes then trump releases tapes showing he is lying.
