quote:
worst state in america,
D-controlled state legislature from 1877-2007.
Last state in the Union to elect a Republican to the US Senate (2004)
D governors from 1877-1980, 1983-89, 1991-95, 2003-07, and 2015-present.
Also one of the few states to have offered free college tuition, something you pretend to support. So maybe it doesn't suck as bad as you say (and if it does, Democrats did it).

someone help me understand this. if you're liberal, why don't you just move to canada? it's a short trip. the land is beautiful. they would LOVE to have you.
staying in america makes no sense. at least half the population is fighting against you harder than ever; texas pastor protection act, ms HB 1523, tougher immigation laws, potential convention of the states, winning nearly every election at every level, etc. i'm not saying liberalism won't eventually win out but, it's going to be an uphill, lonnnnnng battle.
staying, not making an easy, intuitive move, suggests to me that there's a strong underlying emotional motive. it's not good enough to simply exist with your values. you feel it necessary to COMPEL others to believe the same.
