Best golf in DFW?

I'm moving to the metroplex. I'm looking for the best reasonably priced golf. The closer to Mansfield/Arlington, the better. I'm hoping to find a new go-to course that doesn't cost $80/round, but offers a decent course. Also, where I currently play, they run a deal where you pay about $100 and they give you about $300 credit to the range. Anybody know of anything like that in the Arlington area?

Dallas is one of the best golf cities in America.
A lot of courses were built in 2003 and 2008, in residential neighborhoods that were aiming to gear up and get a private club. Both real estate crashes happened and many of those courses which offer great layouts and demanding conditions, became public or semi private.
I've played many, many courses in DFW. With the surplus in courses, IMO, it's one of the best golf cities in America.
It's a hot take but here are the reasons:
a) For $50 you can play what could cost you $90 in Austin, $100+ in California, and $100+ in Florida.
b) While it doesn't have the top end courses that maybe some other locales have, the higher end courses there are fairly accessible (DCC, DAC, and some of the others don't count here)
Tierra Verde in Arlington is simply awesome. LINK /

This is one the best municipal golf courses in the area and the greens and 27 hole layout are truly well done and the course is always in great shape:
