Because it's utter nonsense. We're going to 'honor' people because they choose the wrong sex to have partners with

Strange that the same people who feel like they are somehow excluded from whatever feel the need to seperate/designate themselves from the heterosexual population.

Because NO has much more pressing issues that are being ignored. 13 people shot in a single day 2 weekends ago. Streets are in disrepair. Police dept is undermanned. The jail is under a federal consent decree due to mismanagement. But we're worried about repainting crosswalks and removing 100 year old statues
