No one is saying that OSU is leaps and bounds better than LSU. Most understand that to win 55 out of 59 games in BASEBALL is extremely impressive, given how random and drawn out the sport is. That feat hasn't been accomplished since the 80s, for good reason.

In 1989 Texas A&M started the final game of their regional 58-5 at home. They only needed to win one game out of the next two against upstart LSU to go to the CWS.
We know how that ended.
