I would say the atmosphere would likely be somewhat similar to LSU playing Kentucky, Vanderbilt, or maybe Mississippi St. It's not some directional school that half the people in the crowd have never heard of, but it's not football power like a Texas or Ohio St. either. Syracuse isn't irrelevant for athletic purposes and maybe their fan base decides coming down to an SEC venue might be a fun trip. If so, I would think LSU fans would be happy to interact with them with no sense of animosity that comes with rival SEC fanbases.
