I agree in principle other than the part about it being illegal in most states and I guarantee you most employers, even the most liberal progressives, don't want their employees fricked up on the job.

That's the problem. Testing for pot only shows that sometime in the last 30 to 45 you smoked. Not that you are stoned.
But, by all means fire an otherwise productive associate because they took 4 hits off a joint while they were fishing a month ago. Stupidity in full.
