re: LeBron James says he never "played for a super team. I don't believe in that"

quote:Kevin Durant is their best player. He missed 20 games in the regular season and 1 game in the Finals. He only played in about 52% of the regular season minutes and 64% of the postseason minutes. When Durant was off the floor, they were +7.4 in the regular season and +11.2 in the postseason. They were obviously even better with him in the court (+15.6 & +15.2), but when you can take off your best player and still be 8 to 10 point better than your competition, then they are a super team, like we've never seen before.
The idea of "super team" doesn't fly with me as far as GS either because, yeah, that's a stacked team, but they added 1 player.

My problem with the way everybody is calling GS a superteam. Thy legitimaly built theirs from the ground up with Draymond, Steph, and Klay. They obviously lucked out in all of them turning into superstars but let's not fault them for drafting well. The only thing I think you could bitch about was them getting KD. Lebron on two separate occassions has left for a different team then picked and chose who he wanted to come with him. GS was just far better than Cleveland this year.
