Hasn't this game been in development for like 5 years? And they're still showing some gameplay that's under development lol. And there's still no release date to be seen. How long is it gonna be?

Hell yeah.
Just started my 1.5 & 2.5 play through last week. I will admit, Birth By Sleep is a bit hard to get through, but I'll push through to start KH 1.

I loved KH 1 and 2, but I doubt I'll ever get to play this. Hell, wasn't it advertised before the PS4 even launched? This is getting to HL3 territory.

Neee played a KH game in my life. Why does everyone like it so much? Not being a downer. I'm genuinely curious cause I was never a PlayStation guy.

I've already spent 12+ hours on Birth By Sleep. If I had to guess, I'll probably spend at the very least 30+ on both KH 1 & 2. For $50, well worth it. Idk if it will drop much less than that.

The gameplay was extremely fun and fluid, which I think is a huge reason why they were so successful. Story can be somewhat of a mess, but seeing disney characters being badass and Squaresoft characters interacting with them just activated my geekout mode.
The voice acting and music were also top notch, for the most part.

I think one of the reasons I like it so much is just because it came out when I was much younger. I remember a lot of my friends thought I was gay as hell but then they watched met play it and all had it the next day
Combat is great and it ties in w/ a lot of the movies and characters that we grew up with. Add that w/ the fact that the story is pretty good, it's just a great game.
