2018 Lsu vs Sec softball senior losses, per team vs LSU

(This is a repost of a thread I started. The original thread was removed after someone began posting derogatory comments about players/coaches.)
Who is losing who to graduation this year? Some teams will be only slightly affected by the graduation of the seniors on the roster, but others, like LSU, will have its work cut out for them to maintain the level of play, or something close to it, come the 2018 College softball season.
To begin with, LSU is going to lose two of its best hitters in the history of LSU softball...Bailey Landry, and Sahvannah Jaquish. In addition to that, its spiritual leader, Constance Quinn, will be gone as well. Though Savoie only played sparingly, she was on the team for all four of her college years.
LSU Coach Beth Torina will now be faced with crucial decisions, some which might even send some players off via transfer. Sydney Smith and Nicky Dawson both find themselves at pivotal points in their career. There is little chance at all that Smith will jump Carly or Allie and become the #2 pitcher. What we saw this year is what we are going to see next year, and Smith has to decide if that is going to be satisfying.
Naturally, Smith could transfer to another team, like Kentucky, who is losing its ace, Prince, or South Carolina, who is losing its ace, Nicky Blue, to graduation.
Likewise, Nicky Dawson, who performed well as a (mostly) pinch hitter, may very well find herself in the same role, and, like Smith, she may decide to transfer.
It's going to depend on Shemiah Sanchez, and where Beth Torina decides to play her. Many fans believe she is more suited for second base, rather than third. What many think will happen is Doyle ill move to third base, Sanchez to second, and Springfield to first.
That is pretty much the gist of the drama we will see next year. Griggs and Andrews will keep their spots, and either Thornhill or a newcomer will play right field. Thornhill may struggle at the plate, but she is solid in the field. She can also play first base.
Outside of LSU, this is what roster losses are going to look like...
Alabama- key losses Runyon, Littlejohn, and Dare, all starters and key players
Florida- key losses Gourley, Herndon, and Justine McClean, all three starters, as Herndon sometimes plays as DP
Georgia- key losses are Maeve McGuire and Sydni Emanuel, others include Lindsey Miles, Kayleigh Meldin, Bekah Firmins (sp?)
Kentucky- key losses Megan Prince and Brianna Ray, Shannon Smith
TAMU- Regan Boekner, Celina Massey
Ole Miss- Key losses Courtney Syrett, Miranda Strother, and Dakota Matiko, Raven Campos
Arkansas- Key losses Shelby Hiers, Nicole Shroeder, Stephanie Canfield and Grace Moll, Harney and Pocklington
Missouri-key losses Kristen Mack, Chloe Rathburn Cheyenne Baxter
Auburn- key losses Kasey Cooper, Haley Fagan, Jenna Abbott and cheerleader cutie Sydney Waldrop
Tennessee – key loss Megan Geer, and Kassidy Gallo
Miss State -Key losses Katie Ann Bailey, Caroline Setz, Alexis Silkwood, and Amanda Ivy
South Carolina-key losses Nicky Blue and Kaylea Snaer, also Taylor Williams, Victoria Williams, Jessica Elliot, and Misty Webb

Just adding this, someone reported and confirmed that Sydney Smith said on Instagram that she is transferring. I have NO information on that, as her Instagram account is private.
Satchell may also transfer, that's the last I heard.
If Cunningham becomes the catcher, I am not sure where else Satchell could play. Satchell can hit, we know that.
There has been talk of inside-strife. Maybe some players feel they should have gotten play time... I do not know, but if someone comes on here and starts making outlandish remarks again, they are going to take this thread down.
We all want to see LSU succeed. we all agree we have serious issues with batting.
It will be interesting to see what happens in 2018.
From what we have seen in 2017, we have a pretty good idea of what the lineup will look like. Assuming Sanchez will move back to second base, it will look something like this...
Andrews -LF'
Griggs-CF
Doyle-3B
Springfield-1B
Sanchez-2B
Serret-SS
Cunningham-C
(Right Fielder)
Dawson-DP
I imagine Sanchez and Dawson will taken turns playing second base.
People say that when a coach is recruiting, he/she has to make promises. From the looks of it, we have one position open to promise to a prospective player. That would be right field.
One thing I am confident of is the coach's ability to take the team as far as it could possibly go with the level of talent we have. That is the mark of a good coach... being able to beat teams that are superior, talent-wise.

This is a very bad idea to resurrect this thread. All you have done is given this well uninformed jerk a chance to attack our players and coaches again. Like I said before, let's enjoy the success of our season and not give these aholes a platform to spew lies and personal attacks.
Maybe this is a new alter of Bayou Bum... sounds exactly like what he's been telling anyone who would listen at the WCWS. He would use his Twitter, but it was cancelled...
