The Spurs beat the Cavs both times this year

The Bulls beat the Cavs all 4 times they played this year. Cavs didn't really try in the regular season, I'm not sure how you can draw reasonable conclusions based on those games (other than, because you simply want to)

They were a better team too.

In the regular season, sure. I think it would be a close series if they played in a 7 game series. Vegas released hypothetical series odds during the conference finals and Cavs were slight favorites. Like -150.

This is why Lebron reaching the finals is a worthless stat

No, it's just because you don't like the stat. 7 straight years. He's beat good teams in those years as well. The Bulls had the best record in the NBA and the MVP. Hawks won 60+ games. Pacers had good teams. The East hasn't been as good as the West, there's no debate there. But it isn't as bad as the detractors would lead you to believe. It certainly isn't bad enough to entirely discredit winning it 7 years in a row

He's also got 3 titles in that timespan, probably 4 if Love/Kyrie/JR don't miss the 2015 finals. It's not like he gets there and doesn't belong. The only lopsided finals were 2014 against the Spurs when the Heat were not very good, and definitely benefitted from a weak east (But Lebron was still the best player in the league), and potentially this year against arguably the greatest basketball team ever.
