Superman is an invulnerable super hero with super strength, laser vision, xray vision, and super hearing.

Instead of just going and getting his mom, he goes and beats the ever living shite out of Batman and then trusts Batman to go save his mom for him instead of doing it himself.

Is that enough of a reason?
