Long shot but also check what resolution and refresh rate is coming in on that input. It's possible there's an odd setting in there somewhere that's causing picture degradation. I think I set my TV to 2160p and it will drop to 1080p automatically.

Brand new tv so i'm not that familiar with it, but going through all of the settings i could not find anyway to switch the res. maybe im wrong though.
