Outdoor Bug Killer/Spray

I'm in need of the OB advise. I just moved to Virigina my house is surrounded by trees. What is the best thing I can use on the grass, bushes and trees to kill bugs (fleas, ticks, spiders,ants)..TIA

Tails tar is the business, but if you are covering a large area, the Bayer brand hose end spray gets it.

Yes I will be covering a big area. Would prefer something that I can attach to the hose..trying to keep the bugs out the home and off the dogs as there is no fence around the house

I use Cutter Backyard Bug Control, it's in a blue and gray bottle that attaches to your hose. Seems to work fine for my yard.
