While driving you don't get the courtesy wave in a situation where you clearly did something to deserve it
Or
You hold the door open for a stranger while leaving/entering a business of any kind and they don't say thank you?
1st person that says "real Men don't hold doors open for other men" is the biggest beta of them all

When the guy doesn't give you a reach around

I enjoyed not having to open the door this morning at work. Thanks baw. I also won't mention that pegging that you were excepting when you thought we were all at lunch. Lips are sealed.

If I've been sitting more than two mins waiting for someone to let me out....im irate. Couldnt care less about a thank you at the door because I do it and rarely get a response anyway.

when someone lets me in front of them and i don't deserve it... sometimes i'll think to myself, "don't worry. i won't let you down. your sacrifice wasn't made in vain."
it's weird, i know.

Found the solution to this....if a dude is a few paces behind when I'm opening a door, I time subconsciously & rip it open with much force so that it's still open when he passes thru.
Not holding it & he can stroll on thru w/ neither of us breaking stride
It's the future

"thank you." I'm saying thank you to the future, not to you.
In my experience if the future does something for someone, they should be extremely grateful.

I hate it when I hold he door for a woman and some shite bag speeds up to basically force me to hold it for them too then doesn't say thank you. I usually tell them you're welcome anyway which draws an awkward thanks
I imagine several pricks around here do that kind of shite

Doors a bigger FU, literally nothing stopping a thanks
Posted on 5/27/17 at 12:22 pm to RocketPower13
Don't do either for them or for the recognition. Do it because thats who you are.

Got scolded for not saying thank you loud enough for guy who opened the door for me. Kind of ruins any altruistic intentions.

That's what pisses me off more than anything. Douches who think they're owed a thanks. I didn't ask you to hold the door, in fact I'd prefer you didn't. I say thanks anyway, but it's usually not genuine. If I'm carrying something, then I appreciate it, but otherwise it's pointless.

I don't allow men to hold the door open for me.
