Yes and yes. You should know my views on that

I'm also not religious in the least bit. I will concede that Christianity is less dangerous in its literal form than Islam. You will get no argument from me on that. But Christianity ain't all peace love and harmony 100% of the time. But Christianity is now a modernized religion and has been through an enlightenment where any extremist act perpetuated in the name of Christianity is quickly denounced.

If you agree that those events were justified then you shouldn't have any problem with the Old Testament.

Christianity is about peace and love. It's about triumph of good over the wicked. That's something that Islam can't claim. Muhammad advocating for slaughter of the innocent out of disbelief of him. He killed for conquest. The bible advocates for war against the most wicked of wicked and against the nations that cause human suffering, not for conquest.
