quote:

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
That's a good one and something all people should learn and live.

This is a far cry from the "tolerance" proposed by the left in our society, though. Tolerance as Jesus taught was being kind and loving (obeying God's law towards a person) to people you disagree with. The modern view of tolerance is acceptance of ideas or behaviors, even to the point of moral acceptance. Jesus taught us to be forgiving towards those who hurt us, but He also taught that those who hurt us should repent and do good.
