Honestly? It depends on the level of disability.


Also, have you ever had the joy of having a kid spend a year in a classroom with a severely autistic,angry child with poor impulse control? My daughter had this experience in the second grade. The child was violent towards other children,the teacher as well as his "personal" assistant (a teacher who worked only with him all day,everyday). It was the worst year of my daughters life. She went to school scared and they rarely completed assignments in class. Their class fell behind others and they eventually had to break her class up into sections so they could sit in with other classes to try to catch up. It was awfully unfair to all involved. This was one class,at one school. Imagine how often this goes on nationwide.
