It's been said countless times but 1998 Vikings. How do you blow a 14 point lead at home in the NFCCG? Then Anderson doinked the kick. Unreal how those guys lost.

No disrespect to Vikes fans, but Minnesota might not have even been the best team that season: they finished 13th in total defense, 19th in pass defense and 11th in rush defense. That team squandered a 14 point lead in the NFC title game, Randle got injured, and couldn't even stop Chris Chandler in the final 2 minutes from tying the game with a TD. With a season-long defensive performance like that, not much surprise they didn't make the Super Bowl that season-they allowed 19 ppg against an EASY schedule, that's simply atrocious.
