I think Fox only broke away because of the family statement. If you study the story though...the family said they hired him but he was not authorized to speak unless they said.
Who would hire someone and then dismiss their info with evidence? So the only logical conclusion is Seth's parents don't want robbed and shot in the back twice-- with nothing missing.
