Jets win more than 2 games.

Everyone I've talked to act as if this Pats team will roll through everyone like they did in 07.
That still doesn't make it a bold prediction. Pats going 12-4 or 13-3 would be par for the course for them. No one would be shocked.
Pats don't give a frick about 19-0 anymore. they will go after home field advantage and then rest starters as soon as they can

If the public perception is that the Pats are far better than the 2nd best team in the league, wouldn't that be a bold prediction after all? To lose 3 or more games?

Jameis Winston is mvp
Bucs lose in SB to Pittsburgh
Continues the NFC South dominance and ending in a ball of fire to a 3rd different AFC team.

Flash forward to December. The Pats wrap up a 13-3 season. Is ANYONE shocked? In disbelief? Is their even an article on how the season was a "failure" because they lost more than 2 games?
Just because you talked to some buddies in a bar who told you they think the pats will steam roll everyone, doesn't mean that 13-3 would be a surprising result. Going 14-2 or better is EXTEMELY rare. It's the anomaly.

It has been 17 years since the Patriots finished below .500.

A prominent player within the next month will be the subject of a "gate" and be suspended

Leonard fournette will set the rookie record for knocking up floozies

Could've been 9-7. I make mistakes. It's been a long time. I just remember the beating they gave the saints in foxborough

So I'd say it's a pretty crazy prediction

The biggest story in the NFL will be something that didn't happen on the field

Adrian Peterson will make mark Ingram go pick a switch

Jamal Adams won't be no trouble to the jets

it certainly is crazy and difficult to criticize you given the context of the thread. But seriously there would have to be a rash of injuries with several key players going down and Bill Belichick would have to have a heart attack or otherwise quit coaching at the beginning of the season. It's pretty hard to see the Patriots going below .500 at this point. It probably won't happen until at least Brady retires.
