That's what I've been lead to reading. My price range would be the 02-07 classic Chevy 6.0...
Anything newer would be the ford with the 6.2.

If you want 06-07 Classic, I would get an LBZ duramax and call it a day. My last truck was an 07 lbz and I loved it. It totaled so now I'm in the market for a truck and it's going to be a 17 duramax. I want to test out that L5P. If you get a duramax, I doubt you'll want to go back to a gas burner.
