It looks like part of your problem may be mowing too low and not allowing your grass to grow to the right length so it can grow thick enough to block out weeds.

You may have to spray a combination of stay, if it doesn't brown after like 3 days try something out. Throw down some dang preventative too so you don't get more in the future.
