is this a thing now? Sounds like a lot of lazy professors that don't want to prepare or grade a final.

These kinds of things are compounding the growing idea that you dont really have to work or earn much these days.....just hang tight and somebody else will take care of it for you

Sports Marketing. How is any student afraid of that final?

Regular marketing classes aren't hard.

Hyperbole much? It's a sports marketing class, and probably worth jack-shite in credit hours. Getting a pro-bowl safety to acknowledge you exist is a pretty relevant exercise to the course. No one just handed this kid a degree in neuroscience.

So tagging a player on twitter should absolve the entire class of a final? If that's what higher education has come to, I really fear for this generation going forward (among many other things)

As opposed to the generation who was allowed to get college credit for "Golf for Business and Pleasure" with pass/fail grading?

I can assure you that graduating from LSU with any degree still requires taking plenty of finals, but by all means get up on that soap box and tell these kids to get off your lawn.

The class is "Sports Marketing" so this was actually pretty smart. What better marketing to get a former student and pro-bowler to retweet for you??
