Since you are stuck on slaves who possessed slaves at the end of that war? Lee or Grant?

I don't care at all about slavery what are you talking about?

ETA: Im not sure I even mentioned "slave" at all, directly or by reference. I pointed out that too many people here get pointlessly heated over a silly subject. The civil war is barely even mentioned anymore in schools. That's unfortunate, but reality. Most of its effects are incredibly attenuated, so it is being deemphasized more and more, as every historical event is over times. I think it is silly to watch this board rush to defend Southron honor at every turn, for what reason?
