Always wondered...where does the "8 mile radius" rule come from? Is there something scientific about 8 miles? If it is 8.2 miles is that cool?

Imagine if LSU beats Mcneese and then somehow fits the UL one later and we beat them. Then the mother of all storms tomorrow hits BR and LSU advances due to the rules. The riots would be insane
