Jamie Howard was hitting ~93 at STM as a SR.

After that 6 int performance against Auby I wonder if those LSU coaches wish just maybe they would have let him play baseball?

Did he not throw in the low 90's in HS? Did the Braves draft him as an outfielder or pitcher? That was a long time ago so I called my sister and asked. He was actually a Jr and was dating one of her friends who was a Sr. I was mistaken when I said he got drafted a few months later...it was the following year. That had nothing to do with the point that I made about throwing 90's ~30 years ago being a bigger deal than it is today.

Howard definitely pitched his Sr year. He started the semifinals game vs AHHS at STM.
