Where do you want to draft this year?

I have first choice of draft picks in my 10-team standard league and I'm thinking of taking the 3rd pick.
My thinking behind it is I'd like to have one of - Zeke, LeVeon, or D. Johnson who are all likely to go first in my league and I like the likelihood of getting a decent WR in the 2nd.
Do you agree or are you trying to get an earlier/later pick?

Is it a snake draft? If so, I always like drafting 9-10 to double up

I like picking towards the top part of the middle. 4 or 5 in a 12 team in ideal for me. Someone almost always reaches in my leagues. Picking 4 or 5 guarantees a stud in the first.
David Johnson
Le'Veon Bell
Zeke Elliot
Antonio Brown
Julio Jones
Then you're still in the middle of the second round. Knowing that I'd probably choose 5th.
I see now it's ten team, makes fifth even better. Guaranteed stud in the first and a better player in the second than you'd get choosing higher. You're not stuck at the back end of any round which makes a difference when you get to the 5th and 6th round and big names or scarce, same with 7th and 8th when tight ends and QBs start coming off the board, you can adjust accordingly and get a tier 1 player there

In standard, I agree. In PPR I think I like number 1 so I can get my choice of DJ/Bell.

anywhere.
Let the draft come to me.

Just let me load up on RB. TE is probably an area where you have to luck into someone but I dominated a good chunk of my games because I had a revolving door of Zeke Elliott, LeSean McCoy, Melvin Gordon, Spencer Ware and Ty Montgomery later on in the year.

It doesn't matter. Last year I wanted to pick near the bottom because I felt like there weren't any established studs without major question marks to pick in the first. This year seems better for top picks. But there are winning strategies anywhere you pick.
