Sadly, no one's doing shite about a few $50 purchases. Seems if they paid their energy bill it would be an easy bust but nah....

yes they will. If he's still in possession of the card then it's likely the card number was obtained at a gas pump or something. It's also highly likely that this person either bought the fake card number or has a bunch of other cards. If it's the former, the police will be very interested in finding the origin. If it's the latter, the charges most likely total enough for it to be a felony. How stupid can someone be to pay a bill with a stolen credit card?
