I don't know ALS is pretty bad as well.. They lose their entire self, but their brain is totally aware of everything wrong with themselves... With Alzheimer's, at least they get to a point where they're not aware anymore...

ALS to me is worse on the person who has it
Dementia is worse on the family. :(
