Well I expect true freshman Antoine to step in and play in RF. She is very similar to Landry, she drives the ball a lot like her but does have homerun power.

I do know for a fact Sprinfield and Doyle will be in the lineup for sure. I am not sure who will play 2B, could be Dawson.

Also don't sleep on Sunseri, she has a lot of power and pop in her bat. She could definitely hit .300 with 5-10 homeruns next year. Beth has raved about Sunseri's bat, I just have no clue how you fit everyone in.

I think the best defensive lineup is with Doyle at 3B, Springfield at 1B. Its not even a question. Now, this is where its a bit controversial is who plays 2B. I really was fully expecting Dawson to play their immediately next year but I am not sure if sanchez is inserted there due to experience or something. Then you still have DP which I really want to think Sunseri will see a lot of opportunities due to her power and offense.

As far as Catcher, I really think without question Cunningham would be the best catcher for us, but I still am not sure if we are adding a transfer. Cunningham was really polished defensively coming out hs and could hit extremely well whenever I saw her. She was a top 30 player according to multiple recruiting experts. She was recruited by a lot of Big Ten Schools, SEC school, as well as some PAC 12 ones as well. I really thought she would have been utilized much more this season but it didn't pan out. Probably will be open competition, I expect Caccamise to see a lot of looks as well. They do need to excellent defensively, defense is extremely important in that position.

This is my opinion also.
Doyle at 3rd
Springfield at 1st
Dawson at 2nd
Cunningham at Catcher.

Not sure why that is not the current infield with the exception of Jaquish at Catcher

The current infield is too weak defensively imo.
