Does wild life and fisheries help restock ponds?

Just bought 4 acres that has a acre or so pond on it that was stocked before the flood. Have no caught a fish since. Any help would be great

I think they do...sorry no help, but years ago they were involved somehow. Maybe as a profit generator for them.

Heard in LA it had to do with the size of the pond.

believe me, you still have fish in there. if you really want to start over you'll have to use something like rotenone to get rid of whats in there.

They'll come shock for you to see what is up. At least they did for us once. Told us to drain a 10 acre pond and start over. What wouldn't drain, we used rotenone like ret said.

Don't really wanna start over. Wasn't to restock and just add fish

He will come out and tell you what to do. He will seine and test water. Retired fish biologist who manages a couple hundred ponds in the Feliciana's including mine.

Then go to Tri Parish Co Op and order whatever fish he tells you-which is only bass and bream.
