I bought a 5 quart jug to change the oil with before a road trip from NC to AL this weekend.

Pull out the jug to get started this afternoon and I see in little letters " Use 0 w 20 for vehicles that recommend 5 w 20" ....................

Should a frikkin oil purchase really require the reading of fine print? I guess it would be too much to ask to label the crap that goes in 5 w 20 vehicles..... 5 w 20

Castrol.

well, which weight did you buy? and what does your car recommend?

it appears that you're saying you bough 5w20 for a car that recommends 5w20, but the label says use 0w20. are you saying that castrol recommends not buying their own 5w20 products?

I should have read the fine print on this thread.
